Our research group includes undergraduate, graduate (thesis and non-thesis), and postdoctoral researchers. All members are important, and valued. Expectations for lab members are laid out here. Mentoring Agreement

I hire students, postdocs, and staff based on funded project needs, and will post specific advertisements here when they are available. I am also happy to collaborate on fellowship applications for interested students and postdocs at any time. Please contact me.

For graduate students, I can advise through the Soil Water and Ecosystem Sciences Department or the Interdisciplinary Ecology program in the School of Natural Resources and Environment. I do supervise students in other departments, but in most cases that is through a co-advising situation.

I advise undergraduate students from many departments and programs throughout the university and through many internship programs (for example though the Nature Coast Biological Station, though UF/IFAS, and through FL Sea Grant. Please contact me if you are interested in getting aquatic ecology research or extension experience or if you are looking for undergraduate thesis opportunities.
